And as a kidney expert, I have seen how aging ravages organs like your wonderful, amazing kidneys. So today, I’m revealing a vitamin B3 breakthrough called nicotenomide ribocide or NR for short. Now, this gamechanging supplement, it transformed the lives in a rare aging disease. It’s showing promise for heart health, brain clarity, and kidney protection. And it might just be the anti-aging key you’re looking for. And what are the practical steps to decide if NR is right for you. Finally, I want to share surprising fact about NR that even most doctors don’t yet know. So, this video is really about learning how you can unlock your body’s potential to stay youthful and strong. Let’s dive in to the science of aging. And keep in mind, this is not about hype. This is about hope. It’s about living better, not just aiming for living long. So, let’s start with aging. Aging isn’t just wrinkles or gray hair. It’s a cellular breakdown deep inside and at its core is NAD+, a molecule that powers your cell. Now, NAD+, it drives energy production, DNA repair, and cell survival. Think of it this way. It’s like the battery for over 400 enzymes in your body. But here’s the kicker. NAD+ levels drop by half as you age and this leads to diseases like heart disease, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and muscle loss. So imagine your cells trying to work with a dying bat. There’s a rare disease called worner syndrome. And what it shows is that essentially this NAD+ crisis in overdrive. So patients they age rapidly in their face heart issues, skin ulcers and kidney failure. their NAD+ levels are critically low and this accelerates aging. But you can’t just take NAD+ directly doesn’t work. That’s where nicotinomide ribocide or NR comes in. So NR is a vitamin B3 that boosts NAD+ naturally. It’s the key to unlocking cellular youth. So the question is how powerful is NR? Well, there’s a brand new life-changing trial. So remember, Warner syndrome is like aging on fast forward. Patients in their 20s, they face gray hair, heart disease, painful ulcers, and until recently, there were no treatments. But there’s a 2025 study from Sheiba University in Japan, and this is really going to change everything because they ran the world’s first double blind trial of NR in Warner syndrome patients. And here’s how the study went. There were nine patients who took 1,000 mg of NR daily for 26 weeks and then they switched to placebo. And researchers track NAD+ levels, heart health, skin ulcers, and kidney function. And what were the results? Well, they’re mind-blowing to say the least. NAD+ levels surged by 140%. This by itself doesn’t mean much, but here’s what it does mean. They also measured arterial stiffness, which is a heart disease risk. And they saw that there were significant improvements. They also saw that skin ulcer strength, saving some from amputation. And finally, kidney damage slowed with creatin levels improving. And the best part, there were no serious side effects reported in the study. So picture this. You have one patient in their 40s had ulcers so bad they faced amputation. And after using NR, their ulcers heal dramatically. This is a lifechanging win. So this trial shows NR can fight extreme aging. And here’s a question for everyone. What if you could improve not just your lifespan, but your health span? What if you could slow aging? What would that mean for your ability to do more in your life to live disease-free? And here’s what the science says about NR for heart, brain, and kidneys. So, first, let’s talk about heart health. There’s a 2018 study that found NR reduced blood pressure, arterial stiffness in middle-aged adults. It lowers heart disease risk, which could be huge when it comes to aging better. Next is brain health, and our boosted NAD+ levels by 140% in Parkinson’s patients stem cells. This improves mitochondrial function. In other words, it could improve their overall symptoms. And in Alzheimer’s disease, it may actually have a protective benefit too. And finally, overall in cognition, there’s some data to show there may be improved cognition. In other words, clear thinking as you age. Then there’s metabolic health, which is so important when it comes to kidney. NR improves insulin sensitivity in pre-diabetic women. It also cuts inflammation in older adults, easing chronic kidney disease and other disease risk. Finally, kidneys. Well, as a nefologist, I know kidney decline is a silent aging threat. Slows kidney damage in Wernern syndrome, but it may also do the same for other patients with kidney disease. And so, here’s really the social currency. NRS NAD+ boost is something most doctors don’t discuss yet because it’s very early in its infancy in research. But a caveat, human studies are promising, but they’re still limited. We need more research to really understand long-term side effects. We don’t know that. So, you need to understand. So, is NR worth trying? Well, let’s get practical. So, should you try nicotinomide ribosite? Here’s a practical guide for healthy age. So, who might benefit? Adults over age 40, worried about their heart, brain, or kidney health. Those with metabolic issues like pre-diabetes or obesity, and those who have family history of age related diseases. But you need to discuss this with your doctor. What’s the dosage? In most studies, they were using 250 mg to 1,000 mg daily. Most brands they recommend 200 to 300 mg usually in 1 to two capsules and if you do end up starting start low and see how you feel. Safety wise well NR is well tolerant. There are mild side effects like flushing and these are really rare at low diseases but in trials even up to 1,000 mg there weren’t any serious issues. Now where do you get it? Well remember NR is found in foods like milk, yeast, fermented foods. There are supplements and supplements are more effective, but most of the brands out there, it’s really hard to find what their testing is. They have independent third-party testing, what the quality is, what the potency and purity is. So, as a result of it, be very mindful of just going out and buying any brand. Look for a reputable brand. I don’t recommend any brands on this channel, as you know, and as a result, I can’t give you any advice on that. In terms of actionable tips, if you want to try, try low. Try 250 milligrams daily and see how you feel. If you don’t feel anything, you can go up to a maximum of,000 milligs. But I would not go any higher. But you got to check with your doctor and monitor things like energy, sleep, focus, see if there’s any actual changes. But keep in mind there’s so much hype when it comes to NAD, NR, all of these things. So you want to understand NR isn’t a magic pill for a poor lifestyle. Diet, exercise, sleep, love, which is the social connection, stress reduction are crucial for NAD+. And you always, always, always want to talk to your doctor, especially if you’re on any medication. NR could truly be a gamecher. But remember, lifestyle has to be the foundation. So, if you’re ready to apply this to your life, here’s your four-step plan for NR and healthy aging. Step one, talk to your doctor. Ask about NR if you’re over the age of 40 or you have heart, brain, or kidney concerns. Step two, start slow. Try 250 mg from a reputable brand with third-party testing. Quality matters. Step number three, monitor your health. Track your energy, sleep, lab test like EGFR which is creatine for kidneys. Notice any changes or not? Step number four, boost your NAD+ naturally. Eat a balanced diet, predominantly plant-based. Exercise regular and prioritize sleep. These are foundations for anti-aging.
