if you love to take your vitamins and maybe you’re a little bit confused as to the optimal time to take your vitamins here I’m going to share the perfect time to take your vitamins in the day and these are some of the most commonly taken vitamins and supplements you always want to remember focus on not getting your nutrients from synthetic sources always try to get whole food vitamins whenever you can because this means that they’re coming directly from Mother Nature and your cells actually know how to metabolize and utilize the nutrients when they come from Whole Foods so things like fruits and vegetables herbal medicines as opposed to synthetic vitamins which are derived chemically and usually from the petrochemical industry okay so here are some of the things and the tips that have really helped my patients Through The Years number one is taking magnesium and taking it in the morning and I know if you take magnesium and even you’ve been told to take magnesium closer to bedtime because it relaxes your nervous system it’s great for sleep well I actually say the complete opposite mag magnesium is best in the morning especially when you’re taking something like a magnesium bis glycinate because it helps with the metabolism of your carbs your fats and your proteins and most times you’re eating throughout the day so you want that help with your metabolism throughout the day it’s also a muscle relaxing so this is important for your cardiac function helping to maintain that regular heartbeat you need that more so in the day especially when we’ve got the ups and downs and the stresses throughout the day yes magnesium does help to relax the nervous system as well so that usually we need more of that help throughout the day it does help though so even by taking it in the morning it still helps to relax you throughout the day and then you can have that good night’s sleep but you don’t need to take it at bedtime okay another one is vitamin B12 I prefer this one in the morning B12 also helps when you’re in a lot of stress so it’s very much depleted when you’re stressed out so you want to have that protection for your stress in your nervous system throughout the day B12 also gives you a lot of energy so by taking it in the morning it will help to optimize your energy levels you don’t want to take it too close to bedtime because it can actually keep you awake and hamper your sleep okay another important combination and when you take this one is important so in eye formulations so things like gluten zanthin I actually take these all together one formulation it also has carrots and billberry riy nigram and eye formulation and that lutin and zanthin are best absorbed with a healthy fat so this is why I always like to take my eye formula with my fish oil supplement and my fish oil supplement being higher in that DHA that combination really important to help with that proper absorption of that natural sunlight into your system and converting that natural sunlight into an electrical current in your entire nervous system so waking up your brain it’s like turning the switch on in your body that combination I prefer in the morning because that’s really important we see that early morning sunlight we have to activate all of these centers in our nervous system our circadian timing our bow movements even are regulated now based on that proper formulation taking these in the morning is going to benefit you in so many ways and another perfect time to take this vitamin so vitamin K2 is closer to bedtime and that’s because you don’t necessarily want to take it in the morning and this is when I usually recommend vitamin D K2 and D not good together because that can increase too much calcium in your blood you actually if you’re supplementing with your calcium that should be closer to bedtime as well with your vitamin K2 because vitamin K2 is going to control that calcium to make sure it actually goes into your bones and not into things like your arteries your kidneys causing kidney stones you want to do that together at bedtime so your K2 and your calcium closer to bedtime to optimize your levels of all of these vitamins that I just shared now for more tips and tricks on vitamins that you shouldn’t be taking together please check out my video 10 vitamins you should never take together I’ll see you there
