#SummerBeautyRoutine #CleanBeauty #HolisticHealth #NaturalHairCare #AdrenalSupport

So, I haven’t done a updated beauty anything I feel like in ages. So, today I’m going to give you guys an updated beauty routine summer edition, which I feel like adapts quite a lot in the summertime because of how dry the weather is, how hot it is, how much we’re in the sun. So, I just wanted to share a little bit about what I’m doing for my body to help assist in any way that I can to help it glow and thrive. And yeah, so I’ll take you along uh and explain little details of my favorite things I’m doing this summer. First, I want to talk about supplements. So, just to give you an idea of all the ones I currently take and one added to the list. So, I go through phases where I change out some of my supplements. And in the summertime, I feel like I really need to hydrate my insides and my outsides. So, one of the key things that I do for that is Greens and Minerals. I know that I’ve been talking about this brand for probably 8 years if you’ve been following me for a long time, but this is my trusted uh doctor friend’s name is Dr. Joffrey. He is the gut health specialist that helped me on my journey. The greens and minerals are amazing and what’s important about them is they alkalize the body and also you’re getting a lot of the minerals that you need on a daily basis. So many of us are mineral deficient. So it’s so important to make sure that we get as many minerals as possible. Also, I take Celtic salt mineral salt in my water and also and my olive oil lemon shots for some extra mineralization. Second most important thing that I need to get better at taking, so right now I am like committed to doing it is omega-3s. This is so good not only for inflammation but also for people who suffer with dry skin. Uh so this just fights inflammation on its own. It’s also so good to realize that we don’t eat enough fats usually in our typical diet. So fats and fiber super important for not just losing weight but also having that glowy skin uh without having to put so much product on our faces and of course fighting inflammation which we all wish we had more of. Another thing that I take pretty much year round is it’s called raw materials, but what it is is fulvic and humic acid, which is very good for detoxing the body, mineralizing the body. It’s a very high antioxidant, so it’s also a really good electrolyte. So again, we are giving the body a lot of what it needs. I also love to drink coconut water and have watermelon in summertime to have those natural electrolytes as well. Then uh my new favorite product. This is a colostrum collagen product also from the same company as Dr. Joffrey, which is called Alchem. So what I love about this is it’s not just colostrum, it’s also collagen mixed in. So, you’re getting your daily collagen, which is super important, and also the colostrum, which is so good for fighting off bad bacteria in the gut, for also helping with bloating, for healing leaky gut, for healing skin and acne. Like, colostrum is so powerful for the skin barrier and having us really, especially for people who suffer with acne. Highly, highly, highly recommend colostrum. This is a dairyfree one as well. So, they’ve actually taken out the dairy from the colostrum. So, people who are sensitive to dairy, this is a really good one. And then I take a NAD supplement and I also take every single morning lip and sal glutathione. This is incredible for detoxing the gut. I can’t stress enough how important this is. It makes such a big difference when I started taking this especially for my skin health and bloating. And then I also take the methylade guard plus. This helps my body methylate. I have a clogged lymphatic system. So helping my body methylate different types of nutrients and things helps also detox the body naturally. And lastly, what I love to take because I’m a girly who sometimes suffers with underlying anxiety, especially when uh I found out that I have some mold in my house and that just like expedited my my underlying anxiety is I take daily organic ashwagandha. I like to either have the powder from like a brand of Anemma Mandai and I mix it into like an adrenal cocktail in the morning which is basically aloe vera juice, coconut water, mineral salt. I love lime zest and lime juice. And then sometimes I’ll mix magnesium and ashwagandha into that cocktail. If you guys want me to show you how I make it, I’m trying to perfect my adrenal cocktail because I especially in the summer have just discovered how important it is for me to have an adrenal cocktail because my leg my skin just gets so dry. And so it’s honestly one of the most important things that we can do and I there’s a lot of those like you know cortisol whatever drinks that you can buy from Tik Tok but I just don’t love those powders that you put into a drink. I rather have the most natural way of doing it. And so I’ve been wanting to create my own adrenal cocktail. So let me know in the comments if you want that because I will also do a YouTube on that and the importance of managing cortisol and how and why our adrenals are so important or why they get fatigued because if our bodies in fight or flight on a consistent basis basically your adrenals cannot flush and they just get clogged and then that’s why we hold a lot of water weight and retention and let’s be real in the summertime we don’t want that. Okay, the next thing I want to share with you guys is this is like my go-to beauty tea. I actually just did a challenge inside my community where we did dry brushing, which is another thing that I really love to do, which I will touch on in a second, but also naturally detoxing the body and giving your body a little bit of assistance, but without stripping harsh minerals and just like any type of harsh detoxes are not the way to go. So, I have created this tea which I actually find to be quite good. I mean, of course, you maybe for people who are sensitive to bitter stuff, you might need to add like a sweetener like maple or something like that. But for me, I’m pretty hardcore and I’m not a big sweets person, so I can have this tea any time of the day. This bottle is uh I found it on Amazon here in Italy. I don’t know if it’s available in the US, but it’s a cold coffee prep like thing brew. And so I love the the steeper because none of the pieces of the tea, loose leaf tea get in there. So just taste test here. What I have in here is dandelion root, nettle, ti, marshmallow root, colundula, and rose. And this blend is so good for naturally detoxing the body, helping the nervous system regulate. It also debloats us, detoxes our liver, and also soothes the inside of our gut lining. So, there’s so many benefits. And by the way, there’s like a million others, but I’m just trying to like hone in on the top ones. And I love drinking this tea because as somebody who very easily bloats with water retention because of my sluggish lymphatic system and of course when I’m traveling for summertime and I don’t have all my tools and infrareds on and all these things having this tea and traveling with the loose leaf tees is actually quite easy for me. I love to have this tea and you can have it hot or cold. So this is obviously cold brew because we’re hot in the summer. So let’s be real, we want to be in the colder months. So this is one of my favorite things to drink to help just cleanse naturally. It helps with skin. It helps with bloating in the body. It helps with water retention. It helps with bloss. Then the next thing I want to talk about is hair. So this mane uh takes a lot of work but then like not at the same time I guess because I don’t style it or anything like that. And one of the main things that happens in summer is my hair gets really dry, of course, because we’re swimming in the sea or the ocean and we’re getting a lot of sun exposure. And all those things can actually really dry and damage the hair. So, I like to get a trim and a haircut before summer. And then, of course, at the end of summer, I always go and get my haircut, too, because split ends actually keep our hair from growing. But what I love to do all summer long is use hair oil as much as possible or simply just olive oil or coconut oil or you can use argan oil, rose oil. There’s so many oils that you can use for scalp health and also just like ends and keeping them really hydrated. Another tip that I love and I just literally drench my hair in the in oil and I’ll leave it for as long as possible. That is one of my main tips that I can give you. Even when I’m swimming in the sea or I’m on vacation at the beach, I sometimes before I even go in the water will cover my hair with some sort of hair oil or olive oil or whatever. And that will actually protect the hair while you’re swimming around in the salty sea so that it becomes less drying on the hair. Another thing that is so important for hair care specifically is making sure you’re using a natural shampoo and conditioner in products. And I actually have been trying out a new product lately and I want to share. I have just recently discovered a brand called Kit. And I’ve always been a little bit resistant to shampoo and conditioner bars because I feel that my hair gets really dry very easily. But they also have a conditioner bar, too. And I I think why I was so resistant uh originally is because usually it’s like a two in one with the one bar and I’m like my hair needs hydration. Like people I need I need something more. But what I love about this is one it’s color safe. I even though I don’t really color my hair anymore, I still do have blonde pieces throughout my hair and so that’s important for me. Then they use a rice water protein which is super good not only for the skin but also for the hair. And then it has this kind of like white tea mandrean smell in it. This one is a new fave. Also, too, like when it comes to traveling, I feel like traveling with this for your hair versus a huge heavy bottle of shampoo and conditioner is like a dream. What I love too is this brand actually comes with shampoo bar holders for my shower, which is really convenient as well. So then it doesn’t get all like gy and weird when you don’t know where to put it in your shower. So, key tips here. Make sure when it comes to hair care in the summer, especially for those girls who are trying to grow their hair or take care of better their hair, make sure you’re using a natural shampoo and conditioner. And then, of course, get in there with some hair oil as much as possible. There’s no downside. You just might have to wash your hair twice in the shower when you do have it drenched in oil because otherwise the oil doesn’t come out of your hair and then it feels really like heavy and dense. But if you wash it twice, usually it comes right out and then your hair is going to be so shiny and healthy and happy. Now, I want to talk about the good old dry brush. This is amazing for multiple reasons. Our lymphatic system runs through our entire body, including our face having its own little personalized lymphatic system. And our lymphatic system is such a weird thing because it’s not a muscle or a ligament. and it doesn’t pump on its own. So without specific movements or specific things that we can do, we actually have a stagnant lymphatic system. So walking of course and exercising is super good for the lymphatic system because they have these specific points in our body where like we have some under the armpit here. We have it here on our collar bones. We have some here. We also have some below here. And when we move our body naturally, we of course start to activate the lymph nodes also balancing. So, I don’t know if you guys have seen, but I have also like a rebounder trampoline over there. Bouncing and moving the body with gravity is a great way to get our lymphatic system moving. But this one is obvious. Like honestly, it’s the easiest and the most efficient and it’s great to do before shower or before an infrared session or whatever. Also easy to travel with, so even on vacation. And this exfoliates the skin so your skin feels so soft. And all you have to keep in mind is when you’re using the dry brush, you want to always do these long motions. And you always want to go towards the heart. So I love to do dry brushing just like this. And you usually do five, six, seven, eight. I don’t know. I just keep going until I feel like it’s complete. And you can even get back here on the armpit. Again, you’re moving towards the heart. The only one where you don’t work towards the heart is on the belly. You can do clockwise circular motions, but then you also want to drag your dry brush down to the lymph nodes here. And then on the legs, you want to go from the bottom to top again to the heart. And you just want to go long strokes like this until you get all the way up to the side. And then same with your butt and all these things. It’s really good to exfoliate our butt cheeks because when we sit too long with fabrics, you can tend to get ingrown hairs there. And so doing dry brushing is also really good for helping uh with those types of bumps that we can get on our bum. So dry brushing is amazing. We can also get in our chest here. And you want to also move this way. And I love how soft it makes my body feel and my skin feel. And then of course after the shower, you want to make sure that you rinse off really well because you’ll have dead skin particles. And then you want to make sure you hydrate. So I love really good lotions. I love to use tallow oil from a brand called Granola Mama that’s amazing for body moisturizer. But make sure that you’re not using chemical moisturizers for our body as our skin is our biggest organ. And so when it comes to putting whatever we want on our skin, it’s so important to make sure that we’re not putting toxins because we’re just absorbing them straight into our body which is just going to affect our lymphatic system and all the all the other ripple effects of what that causes. I want to touch on my last little thing for summer and that is face massage/washa. So one of the most important things just like I talked about opening our lymphatic system is to open our lymphatic system before we use a tool like our hands or a gouacha tool. So, and how you do that is you want to start you can start with your armpits where you just do some light tapping and you can do 10 to 20 times. Then you want to do right on the collar bone here. Same thing. Then we want to go under the chin here. You can do like small movements or taps. And then you want to use your fingers here and go on the ears. And then the same on the nose. And the same right by the eyes. And then you can kind of just start to drag down the neck because this is how you’re actually going to drag the fluid down to the lymph nodes. And then you can start with crystal gasha. This is an amethyst which I find very powerful especially when they’re not heat treated or chemically treated crystals which is exactly what this washa is. And you can start with the chin and working your way up on the jaw. This is gonna help define your jawline, which I think we all want more of. And you want to just drag it so that the fluids and the toxins. And I like to kind of go with my hand right after just to assist a little bit more. And then when you go like halfway through, you can start to drag the fluid down the neck. This is the most important part. Then the second one I like to do is the scoop in the cheekbone. And I like to start from the middle of my mouth. Or you can even start from the middle of your lips to help with your smile lines. And you drag it and just go right under the cheekbone. And you want to use like okay pressure but nothing super crazy because you don’t want to damage your skin. But then when you feel that there’s any tension, you can really massage some of the muscles. Like a lot of people clench their jaw. So this is really good for just getting the the tension out of our jaw. And then same kind of thing. You want to drag it down the neck. Then under the eye which tends to get puffy, we can do the long end here and do very delicately just swoops underneath the eye. And then we can also lift our eyebrows. So dragging the gouach over our brow and then of course helping with fine lines. And I like to do a little bit stronger pressure here because our foreheads can really take it. And you just kind of drag it up and over. And then I like to use this flat one and kind of go over all the spaces again. And then nicely drag it down the side of your neck. Another one I like to do because I have neck wrinkles now in my 30s is I like to go up on the neck even before because usually you go down at the end, but the up kind of helps create the collagen because you’re scraping on top of those wrinkles and then at the end of course we want to do underneath and then drag all the way down. So I have this side already feels lifted. This one feels a little bit saggy. And you just want to repeat the same thing again on this side. And if you want to use your hands too, you can really get like a little fancy here with some moves. It’s also really good to do tapping to our face, especially around the bones. So on our cheekbones, on our forehead. This just helps wake up the muscles that tend to be very stiff. And of course, I love to travel with my gouache. I take it everywhere because you never know when you’re going to wake up puppy. But our hands are always great to have and use cuz we have them all the time when you want to do a nice little face massage as well. And then our neck. I’ve been working on mine a lot because I have a ton of tension from going through a lot of stress the last couple years. And this is actually getting to my neck wrinkles being worse. So, I’ve been trying to do a lot of grabbing of these specific areas of the neck and massaging them and also working on the tension here. So, the more that we can actually work with our neck and our scalp, this helps so much with refined wrinkles. So, there’s also back here a muscle in our scalp which never really gets any massage. And so, when you get your fingers and you get up in there, this can help drop actually a lot of the tension in our forehead, which is how we get those forehead wrinkles. And I am one of those girls who refuses to get Botox anymore. I did it when I was really young and so I like to be as natural as possible. Thank you for listening to my podcast. I’m just getting to myself summer update routine. And I just wanted to end it with I am currently cooking myself a beautiful meal at the same time as snacking on some fresh watermelon. And I just want to emphasize the importance of nourishing our bodies with the food that is seasonal, the food that really lights us up, the food that really gives us the the nutrition and that really helps our gut health thrive as much as possible. We have to prioritize this food as medicine is so important. And so, let this be your last little tidbit of inspiration that yes, the summer months we do tend to eat less because it’s hotter and our bodies want something lighter. But make sure to nourish our bodies every single day with the foods that we know our body loves. We need our healthy fats. We need our fiber. We need our healthy proteins. We need our healthy carbs. I have some black rice going here. I have some potatoes. Like, I’m not afraid of the good carbs, and neither should you. And I think that’s all I have to share. I hope you guys enjoyed this little summer update of all the things that I am doing uh usually in my summertime routine and especially in this one. And I will see you on the next video.
