• Which? PABA
• How Much? ≥ 400ucg/day
• Where? Green Leafy Vegetables, Molasses, Mushrooms, Eggs, Liver, and Yoghurt
FYI- you may note that many sunscreens are labeled “PABA-free.” This is because many have a skin reaction to applying PABA to the skin. This is uncommon when using PABA orally.
PABA taken orally has shown positive results in helping to slow pigment loss and even to help restore color to areas of skin affected by vitiligo.
PABA taken orally may help increase fertility because of effects on estrogen metabolism by the liver.
