Alessandro Antonicelli left for his heavenly abode on December 4, 2025. The 26-year-old Italian fitness influencer has amassed a huge fan following on his official social media handles for openly sharing about his battle with a rare disease. Having faced the treatment head-on until his last breath, he inspired many by sharing anecdotes from his journey. His team recently took to his official Instagram account to share the heartbreaking news of his untimely demise, leaving his fans mourning.

Written in Italian, his team took to his Instagram account to announce his passing. They posted his black and white photo along with an Italian phrase, which, if translated to English, reads as, “Life is always worth living.” Expressing how they are relieved that he is finally free from his years-long pain, they urged his fans to extend their support to his family, girlfriend, and friends.

A part of his caption reads, “Today the world is a little emptier: Ale has flown away, free from pain, finding the peace he deserved. We know how much you loved and supported him, but now we ask you to protect his family, girlfriend, and friends during this painful time.”

The post also mentions that in a way to honour Alessandro’s vision and good, they will be carrying forward his ‘F**k Cancer’ project. “We will carry on his F**k Cancer project with the same determination he taught us: it’s what he would have wanted, and it’s the truest way to keep him alive,” the caption concludes.

For those who don’t know, it was in August 2023 that the 26-year-old Italian fitness influencer was diagnosed with chondroblastic osteosarcoma, a type of malignant bone tumour. He had shared the news with his through a social media post, and thus began his journey of openly talking about his experiences as well as the treatments he underwent throughout the two years.

According to media reports, Alessandro Antonicelli’s entire femur, knee, and hip joints, as well as a part of his quadriceps muscle, had to be surgically removed in December 2023. Through his social media platforms, he even raised money for cancer research as a part of his F**k Cancer project. Reports state that his health rapidly worsened in the months leading up to his death. It was in September 2025 that he had to be hospitalised due to unbearable pain caused by his spinal cord compression in the sacral plexus. His health continued to decline until his passing.
