Who is the first person Taylor Swift calls when she needs help? You may have a few guesses, but now, we know for sure: It is, of course, her fiancé, Travis Kelce. The pop star shares a glimpse into her life behind the glitz and glamour of the Eras Tour in her docuseries The End of an Era, which premieres today on Disney+.
In the first two episodes, Swift gives fans a peek into the traumatic aftermath of the planned terror attack that led her to cancel three shows in Vienna back in August. “Never in my life did I think we would have a terrorist plot,” Swift says in the docuseries as she tears up. “We dodged a massacre.” Although Kelce was busy with his NFL career and couldn’t be there with Swift in person during the traumatic time, he was, it seems, always on the other end of the phone.

In one scene, Swift calls Kelce ahead of her London shows—her first shows following the cancellation of her stop in Vienna. During the call, Swift compares the conversation to a “vitamin drip.” “Some people got a vitamin drip, I got this conversation,” she says.

As soon as her first London show is finished, she’s straight back on the phone with him, telling him how excited she is. “I can hear it in your voice,” he says. “I’m just so happy to be back doing this,” she says.
The series will be released in two episode installments each Friday. Although fans didn’t get to see much of Kelce during the first two episodes, they can expect to see a few more glimpses of the football player in episodes to come.
In several trailers, we’ve already seen glimpses of the pair backstage at the Eras Tour. One trailer, for instance, showed the pair sharing a cute backstage kiss. Another showed the pair happily rehearsing Kelce’s now-famous surprise on-stage cameo.
