STUART ── The city of Stuart is offering fitness classes, and most of them are free.

Zumba, Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates, dance and Core & Strength Sculpt classes are available on weekdays.

All the classes are led by qualified and experienced instructors. Residents of all ages and abilities are invited to join. Classes are held at the Riverwalk stage in historic downtown Stuart, the 10th Street Community Center and Memorial Park. The fee-based classes are just $5.

It’s the perfect time of year for outdoor classes but these classes are offered year-round. In inclement or hot weather most of the Riverwalk classes get moved to the Stuart Shuffleboard Center, 500 SE Georgia Avenue. Updates and changes are posted to the City of Stuart Recreation page on Facebook.

According to the city’s website, it is dedicated to creating a healthy connected community through play.

Level up your fitness and social games by trying some of these classes.
