Are you a Taylor Swift fan? Do you like to work out?
For anybody looking to shake it off, a Phoenix fitness club says hey, you belong with me.
It’s called the Swiftie Liftie Club, and it originated about a year ago with some classes in Phoenix.
The Swiftie Liftie Club works out at Groundwrk in Phoenix.
And it’s exactly what it sounds like. People get together in studios and at popup events to work out to the music of Taylor Swift. It was started by Scottsdale resident Alexy Posner.
“So I have loved Taylor for a long time. I’ve also been in fitness for a very long time and been coaching brands all across the country and started coaching at a studio here in Phoenix called Groundwrk,” she said.

Posner says it’s a relaxed atmosphere, but there is one hard-and-fast rule.
“You can do whatever you want. You can skip a move. The only non-negotiable rule of the Swiftie Liftie Club workouts is if you know the lyrics to the song, you better sing them,” she said.

Posner says the idea has drawn interest from throughout the country, and there are plans to bring classes to Los Angeles, Philadelphia and other cities.
And the group is held an outdoor workout session in north Phoenix this weekend to raise money for the Arizona Animal Welfare League.
