By now, you’ve probably come across the viral face ice bath trend—you know, the one where you dunk your head into a giant bowl of ice water? Plenty of celebs have already sung the praises of the ice-water facial trend, and it seems that Kylie Jenner is the latest to give it a try. The Kylie Cosmetics founder shared a glimpse into her Golden Globes preparations on TikTok ahead of last night’s ceremony. In the video, she went completely makeup-free as she prepared for the icy dunk.

Jenner gave fans a glimpse of her Golden Globes prep
“So, Ariel got me this,” she began, referring to her makeup artist Ariel Tejada, who laughed behind the camera. She then showed off a small ring for breathing to help her stay underwater for a longer time.
However, things didn’t exactly go smoothly. Jenner had to “practice breathing.”
“No, I don’t like this,” she said before her first try. She then popped her head in for a second or two, before coming back up and saying, “I forgot how to breath when I was in there!”
Jenner went under water a few more times before calling it quits. “I feel good. I’m done,” she said, grabbing a towel.

A pre-Golden Globes ice bath
While ice water facials may not be Jenner’s thing, the trend has plenty of fans, including Jennifer Aniston, who revealed to Allure on TikTok that she does at-home ice facials. “What I do is I get a bowl and then fill it with ice and then I splash my face 25 times,” she said, adding that she’d try to submerge her face next time.
Jenner may not have fully committed to her ice water facial, but she looked stunning at the Golden Globes nonetheless, wearing a gown dripping in silver sequins. She skipped the red carpet, but supported her partner Timothée Chalamet inside the event and was even seen snapping a photo of him as he took to the stage to receive the Best Actor award. So freakin’ cute!
