After proving the model in Miami, the upscale medspa is turning to franchising as demand for non-invasive aesthetic wellness soars
Alexis Lauren, a Florida-based upscale medspa brand founded in 2022 by Alexis Renda, has launched a franchise model following two successful corporate locations in Miami and a reported average unit volume of $1.89 million.
The spa offers many of the self-care perks fueling today’s wellness and self-care boom, including an increasing number of consumers who’ve dabbled in GLP-1s and are now turning their focus to skin health and other aesthetic treatments.
Services range from injectables — including Botox, Dysport, fillers and Sculptra — to facials, laser treatments, hair removal, microneedling, PRP injections and chemical peels.

Alexis Lauren’s timing also tracks with a category on the rise. The global medical spa market is expected to grow from $17.2 billion in 2023 to $59.4 billion by 2033, according to Market.us, as consumers increasingly gravitate toward non-invasive treatments, wellness optimization and personalized care.
Renda described the franchise launch as a carefully timed move.
“We were very deliberate about when and how we introduced franchising,” she said. “Our focus was on building the right infrastructure first, so franchise partners can step into a proven framework that supports long-term growth while preserving the integrity of the brand.”

When asked about specific growth targets, Renda kept details close to the vest, emphasizing a quality-over-quantity strategy.
“Our focus is on partnering with the right franchisees in carefully selected markets, ensuring our brand thrives with intention,” she told ATN. “Backed by our support, expansion opportunities across the U.S. are limitless.”
Prospective franchisees aren’t required to have a medical background, but they should expect to bring at least $500,000 in liquid capital. Franchise fees are $50,000, with royalties of 6%.
Alexis Lauren was designed to be more than a medspa — it’s a movement toward personalized luxury wellness,” Renda added.
Alexis Lauren also offers a membership model, which includes a $300 monthly member deposit into a personal “Vault,” with credits that can be applied toward any treatment or product. The program also includes exclusive pricing and member-only perks.
