DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Burglars broke into a beauty store Tuesday morning by ramming a U-Haul truck into it.
New surveillance video shows the moment the suspects rammed the truck into the beauty store.
“Two guys backed in with a U-Haul truck, and they smashed the front door and a lot of windows,” said C&C Beauty and Beyond owner Peter Chi.
Chi said they didn’t take anything, but they caused a lot of damage.
“I don’t know exactly what they were trying to get but we had an ATM machine, and I think they might have tried to take that,” said Chi. “They were trying to come in but there was too much debris out front, so they gave up.”
Chi is not letting the criminals deter him. He hopes the burglars can learn a lesson about life.
“I really wish they’d think twice before they do such stupid things like this. Because it’s really destroying the community and innocent people, honest people trying to make a living out of this,” said Chi.
