MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis will host an international gathering of health experts and community members next spring when the Global Integrative Medicine Congress 2026 convenes May 1–3, bringing together science, wellness and public health innovation in a three-day event open to the public.

Organizers say the congress, known as GIMC, is designed to address the growing burden of chronic disease, stress-related disorders and lifestyle-driven conditions by highlighting evidence-based, whole-person approaches to health. The event is expected to draw scientists, physicians, researchers, wellness practitioners and residents from around the world.

The conference will feature panel discussions on topics including mental health, cardiovascular health, women’s health, pain management, neurophysiology and emerging digital health technologies. Sessions will explore how integrative and lifestyle-based strategies can work alongside conventional medicine to improve health outcomes.

The opening day, May 1, will focus on advanced masterclasses led by internationally recognized experts. Six full-day workshops will cover subjects such as detoxification physiology, mindfulness and meditation science, autonomic neuroscience, heart rate variability analysis, research methodology, scientific writing, regulatory standards and clinical safety protocols. Organizers say the sessions are designed to provide practical tools for both clinical practice and personal health management.

In addition to educational programming, GIMC will host a health exhibition pavilion showcasing wellness products, nutrition innovations, research tools and interactive demonstrations. Attendees will be able to participate in activities such as breathwork, meditation and evidence-based movement therapies.

Research and innovation will also be highlighted through poster and abstract presentations spanning integrative medicine, lifestyle science, neurophysiology, rehabilitation and public health. Several book launches by medical and scientific authors are planned as part of the program.

Organizers emphasize that the congress is not limited to health professionals. While it is expected to attract international faculty and delegates, the event is structured to be accessible and relevant to the general public. Sessions will address practical topics such as stress management, sleep, nutrition, emotional health and preventive care.

The Global Integrative Medicine Congress will be held in Memphis, Tennessee, from May 1–3, 2026. The event is open to public attendees, students, wellness enthusiasts and professionals.
