Beyond Wellness is more than just a spa but also not just a medical clinic. Its website says it best, calling it “a total health destination that elevates the traditional wellness experience by serving individuals seeking a custom and holistic lifestyle.”
The flagship location opened in Lonsdale near Hot Springs Village in 2022, and the company will open its fourth location in northwest Arkansas in February.
Beyond Wellness CEO and co-owner Ashley Huneycutt had her own health battles in the past and was seeking alternatives to traditional medicine, which can come with side effects and their own issues. While seeking holistic care in Arkansas, she recognized there was a gap at the time.

The concept of holistic health is becoming increasingly popular across the U.S. Holistic health care is defined as an approach to health care that addresses the psychological, familial, societal, ethical, spiritual and biological dimensions of health. It emphasizes that each patient is unique, the Western Journal of Medicine states.
A study from the National Institutes of Health shows the number of Americans using alternative healing methods, especially for pain management, increased from 19.2 percent in 2002 to 36.7 percent in 2022.
She said people seem to be turning to more preventative medicine rather than waiting until they get sick.
“I think there is always a place for standard medicine, but I don’t think it should always be the first option,” she said.

Known for holistic wellness services, Beyond Wellness will soon open its fourth location in Rogers.
Because of this increase in need and her own personal journey, Huneycutt and her husband, Matt, shifted an original business they had into a wellness clinic, creating Beyond Wellness.
Business at the original location quickly boomed as clients came seeking the same help Huneycutt herself had been looking for during her health journey. Soon after opening up the original Hot Springs location, the team opened up two additional locations in Little Rock. One office is located on Chenal Parkway, and another is in the Hillcrest neighborhood.
“It’s been amazing how fast we’ve grown,” Huneycutt said. “There really seems to be a big shift in wellness and medicine in general.”

The location will provide the services clients have come to love at the other locations, as well as some additions.
The company’s patient-centered approach has attracted not only a wide range of loyal clientele but also a base of experienced, highly regarded practitioners. The owners are still in the process of hiring staff for the soon-to-come northwest location because they are determined to keep the quality of care that they have at the other locations.
Beyond Wellness offers a large menu of both clinical and aesthetic services. Huneycutt said some of the most common treatments patients come for include hormone replacement therapies, weight management help, laser treatments and IV therapies.
“There really seems to be a big shift in wellness and medicine in general,” Huneycutt said. “People are just looking for options to feel better.”
Another aspect of the business is the aesthetics side, for which Beyond Wellness’s experienced nurse injectors and aestheticians use top-of-the-line products.
“Usually, what you can see on the outside is a reflection of what’s happening inside,” she said.
Whether a client comes in seeking medical care or skincare, Huneycutt said the skilled practitioners start with a thorough consultation to assess the patient’s individual goals and needs, as well as how comfortable they are with alternative medicines.
“[The providers] do an amazing job at taking into account each person and personalizing care,” she said. “We have patients who are very alternative, with specialized needs, who want to do things some might consider very alternative medicine to people who are just getting started in the more holistic approach to wellness.”
She said practitioners meet patients where they are and lead the way. The locations see all ages, from teens to 90-year-olds, but most people fall within the 35 to 65 age range, Huneycutt said. She added that while a majority of patients are women, Beyond Wellness also caters to men.
“Men aren’t the ones jumping to go to doctors, so sometimes they’re the ones who need the care more,” she said. “It’s not as scary as they may think.”

Expert care and top-of-the-line products set the company apart.
The new location grew out of a desire to bring care closer to patients in northwest Arkansas. Huneycutt said the company already had people coming from the area to visit Beyond Wellness in central Arkansas, and now they will not have to travel to do so. She also said northwest Arkansas has already embraced the holistic health care trend, so she and the other owners had been looking for a location in that area for a while.
They found a good place for a new office at 4100 W. Oak St. in Rogers and began renovations on the building there, which are coming to a completion soon. Barring any unforeseen complications, the location will open in February.

The company plans to open the Rogers location in February, making its services more convenient to clients in northwest Arkansas.
There, Beyond Wellness will offer all the same services as the other locations, as well as a few exciting additions.
One treatment Huneycutt is eager for clients to try out is called the Exomind. It is a transcranial magnetic stimulation device she said can help with the symptoms of brain fog, anxiety and seasonal depression.
Another feature that sets the Rogers location apart from the others is that it will offer a garden space with a screened-in, climate controlled porch, creating a large, indoor-outdoor multiuse room. It will be used as a waiting room for clients to relax in between treatments and while getting IV treatments, as well as for Beyond Wellness events. Huneycutt said the garden will even be rented out for other companies’ events.
“We’re hoping to be a community space,” she said.
The garden will look out onto a wooded area, offering a tranquil environment for people who visit Beyond Wellness, allowing staff to continue “redefining health and beauty,” as the company motto states.
Updates on the new location’s official opening can be found on the Beyond Wellness social media and website, beyondwellnessar.com.
