Nuon Medical, an international skin care and cosmetic technology company, has supplied Italian skin care brand Vagheggi Phytocosmetici with an intelligent cap for its Longévité 75.25 range.
The Efficacy Booster Device is a skin care tool fitted into the lid of Vagheggi Phytocosmetici’s Longévité 75.25 day cream jar. It integrates four technologies that can aid in targeted skin rejuvenation: red light (630 nm), microcurrents, therapeutic warming, and vibration.
“To support Vagheggi Phytocosmetici’s performance objectives, the brand chose to complement its cream with combined technologies, entrusting Nuon Medical with the design and development of an intelligent cap,” says Nuon.
Skin improvements
According to the skin care technology company, a study involving 20 participants aged 40 to 65 with visible wrinkles evaluated the effects of the Longévité 75.25 day cream and the Efficacy Booster Device. Participants applied the day cream twice daily for 14 days and used the device once daily for a total of three minutes.
The results showed an average decrease in wrinkle depth of 14.8%, with reductions of up to 40% observed in some participants.
All study participants reported improvements in skin firmness, radiance, and hydration, and noted a lifting and reshaping effect.
Vagheggi Phytocosmetici’s Longévité 75.25 skin care range is formulated with active ingredients that target the 12 signs of skin aging — protecting, nourishing, stimulating, and brightening the skin.
The rise of tech beauty
The skin care range also boasts the “redefining of facial contours” through Nuon Medical’s integrated beauty technology.
Last week, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, US, featured a strong presence of beauty technology, suggesting that cosmetics companies’ digital capabilities are increasingly important.
At CES, Nuon Medical announced a comprehensive tech-integrated packaging ecosystem that allows brands to embed sensing, treatment, and connectivity directly into personal care packaging.
The solution aims to transform the skin care applicator from a tool into an intelligent delivery engine, enabling brands to improve formulation efficacy while providing data-driven diagnostics.
