The Belfast-based brand, which provides equipment for some of the top gyms and soccer clubs in Europe, is targeting $100 million in revenue within five years as it eyes U.S. and Asia-Pacific expansion

The weight room is where the money is.

Just ask Blk Box. The Belfast-based strength equipment manufacturer reported record fiscal year 2025 revenue of £27 million ($36.1 million), up 35% from 2024.

Now, Blk Box is thinking even bigger. The brand — which supplies 90% of English Premier League soccer clubs and works with gym operators such as PureGym, Fitness Park, Nuffield Health and Solo60 — is now targeting $100 million in revenue within five years.

To get there, Blk Box has been laying the groundwork. In 2025, the company completed nearly 1,000 facility installations across 13 countries and expanded its workforce to 160 employees. Its client roster has also widened to include Soho House, an upscale, members-only club.

“What began in Belfast to provide better equipment for athletes and communities has scaled into a global business with clear ambition,” Blk Box founder Gregory Bradley said. “This year’s results reflect the progress we have made, the partners we work with and the culture supporting our next phase of growth.”

Blk Box’s portfolio spans nearly every corner of the weight room, including rigs and racks, training pods, barbells and plates, free weights such as dumbbells and kettlebells, strength machines, gym flooring, conditioning equipment, bodyweight training gear, mobility tools and storage systems, along with a range of home gym equipment.

Looking ahead, the company says it plans to invest in new product lines and continue expanding internationally, with a focus on the U.S. market and growth across Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.

The strategy builds on a leadership move just four years ago, when Bradley brought on Ben Stocks, formerly of cycling e-commerce brand Chain Reaction Cycles, to help guide Blk Box’s global expansion.

Since then, the company has landed international gym chains and outfitted training environments for teams including West Ham FC and Aston Villa FC, as well as Loughborough Powerbase.

Blk Box has also pushed into the booming hybrid fitness events space, partnering with ATHX Games alongside Adidas to help upgrade competition arenas and build out event infrastructure.

If there’s a ceiling on strength training’s popularity, it hasn’t appeared yet.

Among those under 40, the modality has overtaken every other workout category, according to recent research.

Life Time, meanwhile, has identified strength training as 2026’s top health priority in a survey of members and non-members. On the equipment side, strength equipment sales jumped 181% between 2012 and 2022, while sales of traditional cardio machines declined sharply, according to data cited by investment bank Harrison Co.
