SUKOSHI, an Asian beauty retailer, is now open at Bellevue Square, marking the brand’s first location in Washington state.
The 2,400-square-foot store is located on the first level of Bellevue Square in the Macy’s corridor. The space previously housed The Disney Store. The remaining portion of that former location is also occupied by FP Movement, the activewear brand by Free People.
Founded in Canada in 2018, SUKOSHI carries more than 200 curated Asian beauty brands focused on makeup and skincare. The Bellevue opening is the company’s 20th location. The retailer recently expanded into the U.S. market with the opening of a New York City store in September.
“In our seven years of operation, SUKOSHI has championed the Korean beauty movement across North America,” said Linda Dang, CEO of SUKOSHI, in a statement. “With a 95% female-led team, we strive to empower personal care enthusiasts and newcomers alike.”
SUKOSHI plans to expand to 40 locations in 2026 and is also growing into a brand accelerator designed to help smaller beauty brands enter the national market.
Jennifer Leavitt, senior vice president of marketing at Bellevue Square’s management team, said SUKOSHI adds to the center’s mix of beauty retailers and offers shoppers an immersive way to explore skincare products.
SUKOSHI is hosting a grand opening event today, Jan. 17, offering special deals and exclusive, location-based merchandise. As part of the opening-day celebration, the first 100 customers will receive a free SUKOSHI knit bag and a Medicube PDRN Glow Set.
The next 100 customers will receive a Red Chamber Cosmetic blind box and a makeup brush. An additional 100 customers will receive a free Pleuvoir parfum soap.
