Food Is like Fuel . Calories are like unit to calculate energy
Two Types of Nutrients :-
1)Macronutrients:-
i) Water
ii) Carbohydrates
iii) Protine
iv) Fats
2)Micronutrients :-
i) Vitamins
ii) Minerals

Macronutrients requires in large amount
i) Water:-
Yes , it is a nutrient. most important nutrients.
our body is mostly water.
Water carries other nutrients to the cells in our body.
Regulates our Body Temperature.

Energy Providing Nutrients :-
carbohydrates ( 1 gram- 4 Calories)
Fats ( 1gram – 9 Calories )
Protein ( 1 gram – 4 Calories)

Perfect meal:- 45%- Carbs 30%-fats 25%- Protein

First breakdown – Carbs- fat – Protein

Avoid Trans Fat and saturated fat

Always drink water 4 -5 liter

For Muscle building add protein in your diet

Micronutrients Does not provide any energy
i) Vitamins:- a) fat Soluble:- Stored in fatty cells when in access
b) water-soluble vitamin:- remove via Urine when in access
ii) Minerals :-
Stored in ionized form in the body
Helps in chemical reaction
Water balance process
Formation of new cells
muscular contraction

a) Microminrals :- Require less in number
b) Macrominrals :- Require more in number
