In honor of National Nutrition Month, the Memorial Hospital Health & Wellness Center will offer a “Spring into Health Community Health Screening” on Wednesday, March 4. For just $25 per registrant, participants will receive valuable preventive health services, including: A1c Testing, Lipid Panel, Body Composition Analysis (Tanita Scale), and Hearing Screenings. Following the screening, attendees can enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the hospital’s Courtyard Café.
“Preventive care is one of the smartest investments you can make in your health,” said Kayce Fuhrman, Director of Diabetes Services at Memorial Hospital. “By focusing on good nutrition and taking advantage of community health screenings, individuals can often identify concerns early– saving both time and money compared to treating more advanced conditions later.”
These screenings are available to the public, but participants must register and pay in advance. Due to limited availability, early registration is encouraged. Participants should also note that fasting 10 to 12 hours prior to the lipid panel is required to ensure accurate results.
Interested individuals can register by visiting mhtlc.org or by calling 217-357-6540. The Health & Wellness Center is located at Memorial Hospital at 1454 N. Co. Rd. 2050 in Carthage.
