Local 4-Hers with an interest in the food and nutrition project area can join a regional workshop to learn about all things food.
This workshop will be held at Williamsburg High School on March 7th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Topics that will be covered include, Safe-for-fair frosting, bread making, common kitchen mistakes, careers in food and nutrition, food and nutrition exhibits at the county fair, and more. No experience is needed to attend this workshop.
The cost of this workshop is $30 and scholarships are available. There is an option for a carpool if there is enough interest. Registration is due by February 27th. This workshop is open to all region 19 counties that includes Iowa, Johnson, Keokuk, and Washington.
