A 29-year-old man was arrested following an alleged commercial burglary at a Planet Fitness in Jackson.Jackson police said Kervin Smith was taken into custody on Feb. 5, 2026, by JPD Precinct 2 officers after investigators say he broke into the Planet Fitness located in the 2500 block of Robinson Road.Smith was booked into the JPD city holding and charged with Commercial Burglary.Authorities also stated that Smith appeared in Municipal Court on Friday morning, where a judge set his bond at $300,000.The case remains under investigation.
