PINE RIVER

— The Senior Nutrition Program offers a nutritionally balanced meal for all people and is open for in-person dining at locations in both Pine River and Crosslake.

In Pine River, meals are served at 11 a.m. Monday-Friday at the Heartland Apartments, 445 Snell Ave., in Pine River.

In Crosslake, meals are served at 11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday at the Crosslake Community Center.

The suggested voluntary donation is $7 per meal for those over 60 and $10.50 for those under 60.

To make a reservation to eat in the dining hall, to pick up a meal or to have a meal delivered, call 218-420-2828 in Pine River or 218-409-7960 in Crosslake. Call a day ahead. Leave a message.

Menus are subject to change. Meals are served with low-fat milk.

Monday: Chef’s choice, vegetable of the day, fruit of choice, wheat bread and margarine, dessert of the day.Tuesday: Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, mixed vegetables, dinner roll and margarine, chocolate chip cookie.

Wednesday: Pork roast, pork gravy, candied yams, green beans, wheat bread and margarine, vanilla pudding.Thursday: Chicken Alfredo, peas and carrots, hot spiced apples, dinner roll and margarine.Friday: Cheese omelet, turkey sausage, red diced potatoes, diced peaches, blueberry muffin, margarine and ketchup.
