Hertford County Buildings & Grounds crews began work as soon as conditions allowed and continue working diligently to restore all areas of the facility, according to county officials.
“We hope to reopen the activity area on a limited-use basis next week and will provide updates as progress continues. We appreciate your patience and understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused,” said county officials on their Facebook page. “If you have an elderly neighbor, friend, or family member who utilizes the senior center and may not have access to social media, please help us by sharing this information.”
