LunaLuxe Aesthetics and Wellness enhances beauty

When it comes to beauty standards, many people today are interested in achieving an enhanced natural look.
For those with such interests in and around Clark County, there’s a new reason for excitement. LunaLuxe Aesthetics and Wellness is now one of three sights Winchester residents can look forward to visiting at 174 Pedro Way.
The occasion was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, February 11.
“I’ve been interested in stuff like this for a very long time,” said Hannah Patrick, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who co-owns LunaLuxe Aesthetics and Wellness with her fiance, Brent Wasson. “That was my end goal when I became a nurse…was to get into this field.”
Focused on both aesthetics and wellness, the company offers care in a variety of ways.
Among them are the application of neurotoxin treatments, defined by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery as “the most popular single cosmetic procedure in the U.S. … mainly used to smooth dynamic wrinkles, or those wrinkles that form as a result of facial movements like frowning, squinting, smiling, and other expressions we tend to make day after day.”
These treatments, including Botox injections, work by blocking nerve impulses to the muscles, which causes them to relax.
Other forms of neurotoxin treatments include Dysport, Xeomin and lipflip.
Aesthetic treatments also include using hyaluronic acid filler, available in both 1 ml and .5 ml syringe injections.
As defined by the American Society for Dermatological Surgery, “Hyaluronic acid is found naturally through out (sic) the body, with the highest concentration in the joints, eyes, and skin. In the skin, hyaluronic acid attracts water, which allows the skin to become more hydrated. As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. This loss of volume leads to either a sunken or sagging appearance of the face, fine lines, wrinkles, folds and thin lips.”
Injectable hyaluronic acid has notable benefits.
“Injectable HA is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and volume to the face and lips. The effects of injectable hyaluronic acid are seen immediately.”
Rejuvenation and resurfacing treatments are also available at a range of prices.
Among them are radiesse, hyperdilute radiesse, sculptra, skinpen microneedle, the VI peel, vamp, the IS Clinical Prodigy Peel Pro System, and more.
Certainly not least, in the category of wellness and weight loss, semaglutide and tirzepatide, B12 injections, peptide therapy, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) are available.
Providing such applications is a rewarding process for Patrick.
“I like making people feel good about themselves,” she said.
