A new Planet Fitness location opened Thursday in New Dorp, with Assembly member Michael Tannousis joining franchise officials for the celebration.

The gym, at 430 New Dorp Lane, is offering free workouts to nonmembers on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15 in honor of Valentine’s Day weekend. During that time, visitors can also access free HydroMassage and massage chairs.

The 13,500-square-foot facility features plate-loaded equipment, a 30-minute express circuit training area, flat-screen televisions, and locker rooms with day lockers and showers. Classic memberships cost $15 per month, while PF Black Card memberships are $29.99 per month.

“We are excited to bring this new, clean, state-of-the-art facility to the New Dorp neighborhood,” said James Innocenti, chief operating officer of PF Supreme LLC, a Planet Fitness franchise.

Tannousis, a Republican representing Staten Island’s East Shore and part of Brooklyn, said the facility expands access to affordable fitness options while creating jobs. “Staten Island families deserve welcoming, high-quality spaces that promote health and wellness, and this new facility will serve as a great resource for residents of all ages and fitness levels,” he said.

Planet Fitness will donate $1,000 to Modest Community Services, which provides programs for people with developmental disabilities.

“Modest Community Services is extremely excited to partner with PlanetFitness New Dorp, who believes in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and we are so grateful that you are able to make a donation to Modest,’’ said Irene Rosen, director of development for Modest Community Services. “Welcome to the Staten Island community.”

The gym is open Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Fridays from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
