There’s no denying that achieving optimal health can sometimes require a little support from vitamins and supplements. And it seems Hailey Bieber is on board with that mindset, as she recently opened up about the supplements she takes after becoming “hyper-aware” of her health.
During an interview on Jake Shane’s Therapuss podcast, the Rhode founder shared details of the vitamins she takes. “I’m a huge vitamin taker, like I take vitamins every single day, every single night,” she said.
“I take magnesium. I take something for my cortisol to keep calm for my mood. Just things that I feel like help keep everything in order. I’ll take debloat vitamins, I drink teas, little elixirs. I take collagen jellies.”

Collagen is a vital protein in the body that naturally declines with age. As the foundation of healthy skin, it helps maintain a plump, youthful appearance by supporting elasticity and hydration. Beyond skin, collagen serves as the “glue” that holds ligaments, joints, and bones together. Starting around age 20, our collagen production drops by roughly 1% each year, and by the time we reach 50, many people have lost about half of the collagen in their skin.
Nutritionist Jessica Sepel previously spoke to us about the benefits of taking collagen supplements. “Marine collagen is absorbed up to 1.5 times more efficiently into the body, which means that it is more bioavailable than bovine collagen,” she said. “As it is absorbed more efficiently and enters the bloodstream faster, it is considered a superior form of collagen.”

In March 2022, Hailey suffered what is commonly described as a “mini stroke,” a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) caused by a blood clot in the brain. A year later, she revealed that this ultimately led to her diagnosis with a patent foramen ovale (PFO). According to the Mayo Clinic, a PFO is a small, flap-like opening between the upper chambers of the heart that fails to close properly after birth. It’s usually asymptomatic, and most people never require treatment.
“That situation made me a little bit extra hyper-aware of my body and a little bit more nervous about things and staying on top of them,” she shared. “But I’ve just always been really focused and fascinated on health.”
She continued: “It was also kind of what led me to want to [start my beauty company], Rhode. My obsession with skincare also comes from my obsession with medicine.”

Hailey has even previously collaborated with Erewhon to launch a Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie for its wellness benefits. The pink-colored beverage contains Organic Almond Milk, Organic Banana, Organic Strawberries, Organic Avocado, Organic Dates, Organic Maple Syrup, Grass-fed Vanilla Collagen, Vanilla Stevia, Sea Moss, Organic Coconut Cream, and Organic Strawberry Glaze. The viral smoothie had skin-care enthusiasts in a chokehold.
The skincare moguls wellness routine also includes a regimented workout schedule. “I really like boxing and I’ll do a couple of sessions a week in the gym, weight training and cardio. Exercise keeps my mind and my body really healthy,” she told Women’s Health in 2021.
Hailey is a big fan of pilates to maintain her sculpted physique. “I used to be a ballet dancer so Pilates for me gets my body personally in the best shape because it’s very elongating,” she explained. “A lot of the movements in Pilates are very similar to dance.”
