Regent Hotels & Resorts has unveiled the world’s first Regent Spa & Wellness, debuting IHG’s innovative spa concept at Regent Bali Canggu.
More than a traditional spa, the space is designed as a “sensorial journey” that blends Indonesia’s wellness traditions with contemporary restorative practices.
“It is exciting and such an honour to launch the world’s first Regent Spa & Wellness at Regent Bali Canggu,” said Manish Puri, General Manager at Regent Bali Canggu. “We invite curious minds, soul-seekers and wellness lovers to experience something rare: not just rest, but a chance to ignite their spark.”
Developed by IHG’s wellness specialists, Raison d’Etre, the spa emphasises ritual and intention, starting with The Reset, a signature pre-treatment experience set within traditional wooden cabanas. “The Reset pod experience before each treatment is a real game-changer,” Tanisha Lo, Director of Spa, explained.
“We believe that when the mind is stilled, the senses awaken — and in this amplified state, guests can feel more, experience deeper, and leave truly transformed, extending the impact of the treatment far beyond the spa itself.”
Treatments incorporate gemstone energy, restorative light frequencies, and aromatics to create transformative experiences. Highlights include The Massage Revolution, performed on a warm quartz sand bed, and The Facial Revolution, which combines botanical actives with LED and EMS technology.
Multi-generational guests can enjoy the Together Massage, fostering shared relaxation for parents and children.
Anna-Cari Gund, Managing Director of Raison d’Etre, describe the spa as a reinvention of tradition. “Gone are traditional neutral palettes, candled corridors and run of the mill relaxation rooms,” she said. “Our aim is to bring energy to our guests that takes them to new personal heights.”
