A health supplement tablet and children’s sweets are the latest items to be recalled by the FSAI.

Specific batches of Rosabella Moringa supplement, which can be bought online, have been recalled both in Ireland and worldwide. That’s due to the presence of infectious bacteria salmonella, which can cause severe illness.

The symptoms of salmonella infection include diarrhoea, fever, headache and abdominal cramps. Onset of symptoms is normally between 12 and 36 hours after infection, but can range between six and 72.
