Sarah Ferguson is making headlines after checking into one of the world’s most exclusive wellness clinics in Zurich as the Epstein scandal involving her and her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, led to renewed scrutiny following Andrew’s arrest on February 19, 2026.
According to the Daily Mail, Ferguson and Prince Andrew found themselves back in limelight, after their names appeared in newly released Epstein documents. Ferguson left the U.K. and checked into Paracelsus Recovery, a Swiss rehabilitation clinic. She left for the facility after Christmas and stayed until the end of January.
A source speaking to the Daily Mail commented on the situation, saying, “She always feels at home at Paracelsus, and knows she’ll get love and attention there, as well as expert health treatment when she’s feeling at her most vulnerable.” Another source offered similar sentiments, saying Ferguson always had “strong relationship with Paracelsus, so it was the obvious place for her to get away from everything.”
Following Prince Andrew’s arrest, Ferguson’s current whereabouts remain unknown. However, according to People, as of late January, she had decided to spend some time overseas to consider her next steps. Paracelsus Recovery has not clarified the matter and, when asked whether Ferguson was there, responded, “As a matter of policy, we never confirm or deny whether any individual is or has been under our care.”
Ferguson’s decision to leave during a time when her ties to Epstein are being reexamined has drawn renewed attention to her past relationship with the disgraced financier. She previously admitted that Epstein paid £15,000 to her former assistant.
Moreover, she closed six companies linked to her name amid mounting pressure after her ties to Epstein resurfaced. Email correspondence between the two shows they shared a close relationship. For instance, emails revealed that Ferguson referred to Epstein as a “supreme friend” and joked, “I am at your service. Just marry me.”

It should be noted that Ferguson has not yet been charged with any crime. However, given how close she was to both Epstein and Andrew, it is natural that she is facing scrutiny in the case. According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, if the roles were reversed between Andrew and Ferguson, he would have helped her.
Explaining further, Seward added, “I would love to see her rush to his side. God knows he would have rushed to hers, were this the other way around. But she is busy looking after number one. I doubt we’ll see her for a while.”
Ferguson and her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, have also refrained from making any comments on Andrew’s arrest. Andrew’s involvement with Epstein has already brought significant disgrace to the royal family, and the silence on Ferguson and her daughters’ part may be voluntary to avoid further controversy.
