SALEM, NH — btone FITNESS is opening its first New Hampshire studio in Salem on Friday.
The new studio will offer donation-based classes to benefit Field of Dreams Park & Playground during its grand opening weekend. A formal ribbon-cutting event is scheduled for March 19, with executives from the Southern New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce.
The 1,860-square-foot studio is located at 125 South Broadway, near Barnes & Noble. Noelle English, a resident of Boxford, Massachusetts, owns and operates the Salem studio. English also owns the btone FITNESS Marblehead studio.
English said the “btone workout is an approachable and customizable hybrid of Pilates-inspired movements and strength training, delivered in a 45-minute, joyful flow that’s ideally suited for all levels and ages, for every body, every day.” She added the Salem market is ideal for btone FITNESS because “there’s nothing else like it here.”
Jody Merrill, CEO and Founder of btone FITNESS, said the Salem opening is significant for the company.
“This Salem studio opening is an exciting one for the company since it’s our first opening in New Hampshire, taking place in our 15th anniversary year,” Merrill said.
She said the company is “on a fast track to have close to 45 opened studios by the end of 2026.”
The Salem studio features twelve customized reformers for personalized Pilates hybrid workouts. These machines allow clients to adjust spring resistance and body placement. English noted that the classes “strengthen every major muscle group in your body on our state-of-the-art reformers.” Donation-based classes for Field of Dreams Park & Playground will run on Feb. 27, 28, and March 1.
