After reportedly checking herself into a luxury wellness clinic in Switzerland, Sarah Ferguson is now much closer to home. She’s currently holing up in Donegal, Ireland at the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa, per the Daily Mail.

The 66-year-old and her ex-husband, the former Prince Andrew, were evicted from their home at Royal Lodge following new revelations regarding their ties to financier Jeffrey Epstein. Department of Justice documents revealed that both Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor were in contact with the late sex offender much later than previously thought.

Ferguson previously stayed at the same Donegal resort in 2024, sharing a TikTok from a nearby beach. “I find things get sometimes overwhelming, I just try and take myself off to the most beautiful, wonderful blast of fresh air,” she said at the time.

Just days ago, reports suggested that Ferguson was staying at a wellness clinic in Switzerland. Multiple outlets claimed that she checked into Paracelsus Recovery after Christmas and stayed there through late January. The onetime Duchess of York has also spent time in the French Alps and the United Arab Emirates as of late.

Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested around 8 a.m. on his birthday, Thursday, February 19, and spent about 11 hours in custody. He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, allegedly leaking classified information to Epstein when he served as a U.K. trade envoy from 2001 to 2011.

“She always feels at home at Paracelsus, and knows she’ll get love and attention there, as well as expert health treatment when she’s feeling at her most vulnerable,” a source told the Daily Mail.

The insider explained that Ferguson has “a strong relationship with Paracelsus, so it was the obvious place for her to get away from everything.”

Tensions began mounting over the former couple’s association with Epstein in the fall, with both surrendering their respective Duke and Duchess of York titles in October 2025. By the end of the month, Andrew’s older brother, King Charles III, had stripped him of all of his royal titles and privileges.

Earlier this month, Ferguson and Mountbatten-Windsor were evicted from the 30-room mansion they shared, Royal Lodge, on the Windsor estate. Though they divorced in 1996, Ferguson moved in with him in 2008, five years after Andrew began living on the property. Mountbatten-Windsor relocated from Royal Lodge to the Sandringham estate—Wood Farm, specifically—but Ferguson isn’t expected to live there.
