The North Fayette Valley High School Wellness Club is gearing up for its second annual gala event on Saturday, March 14, at the West Union Event Center. New to the community in 2025, the NFVHS Wellness Club’s objective is to support both student and staff wellness initiatives through a variety of different ways.

“We will continue offering many of the same initiatives we have held over the past year but also have some new areas we will be exploring this year,” said co-chair Kennedy Balk, who is also joined in leading the NFVHS Wellness Club by Mallory Meyer and Hannah Winter. “We will offer a new scholarship this year and will also be sponsoring one of the activities on this year’s senior class trip to St. Louis, as well as much more.”

Balk went on to say that last year’s inaugural gala was a success and that she and the rest of the Wellness Committee are hopeful this year’s gala will continue to grow to continue benefiting students, staff, and the community.

The event is set to get underway Saturday, March 14, at the West Union Event Center. Persons must be age 21 or older to attend.

The formal event (black tie encouraged, but all attire welcome) begins with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. with a charcuterie prelude and main course and dessert to follow. In addition, the evening’s activities include a silent auction, raffles, and cash bar.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the NFVHS Wellness Club, which benefits both students and staff at North Fayette Valley High School.
