GUADALUPE COUNTY, Texas – The director of a beauty school in San Marcos is among two suspects arrested in connection with an investigation into child sexual abuse images and bestiality videos being sold online.

On Friday, the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office said Angel Irene Mikos, 44, and Scott Joseph Mikos, 56, were both charged with possession of child pornography and bestiality.

Online records show Angel Mikos was the director of education at the Total Transformation Institute, a beauty school located in east San Marcos.

“Angel Mikos’ arrest is not related to the Institute, and she is no longer employed at the school following her arrest,” the school said in a statement Friday evening.

According to an arrest warrant, Homeland Security Investigations special agents learned a woman, later identified as Angel Mikos, was selling “homemade bestiality videos” and images on a messaging app.

Angel Mikos sold the videos to undercover HSI agents, who then obtained a federal search warrant for her address in the 2100 block of Flintshire Drive in New Braunfels, the warrant states. Investigators also interviewed Angel and Scott Mikos.

Investigators seized electronic evidence and found “several files” depicting bestiality and child sex abuse material, the warrant states.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office also obtained a search warrant to review the evidence and determined Scott Mikos “assisted in the production and distribution of bestiality material,” the sheriff’s office said.

Both Angel and Scott Mikos were booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center, jail records indicate.

The investigation remains ongoing.
