NORTH AUGUSTA — Hydration therapy — and other medical services like vitamin injections, red light therapy and wellness consultations — are expected to be available in downtown North Augusta by Masters Week.
Natasha Davis, who goes by Tasha, opened Downtown Hydration and Wellness on Aiken’s Laurens Street in September 2024 and is now expanding with a second location in North Augusta, moving into the spot at Jackson Square where Orange Otter had been until January.
Davis is a board-certified nurse practitioner who is experienced in healthcare through her work in the ER, in home health and in primary care.

“It’s my calling. It’s my purpose,” she said, outlining what she said has been an organic evolution of her career, leading her from one place in healthcare to another. It’s a career that, with Downtown Hydration, now allows her to meet her patients where they are.
“It really is a partnership. This isn’t me telling you ‘this, this, this, this.’ Let’s work together. There’s always several paths,” Davis said.
Davis being a nurse practitioner, she also has the benefit of being able to “pivot” when needed, tailoring a patient’s course in real time.
And her business gives her time with her patients, something Davis said was missing from some of her previous work.
“Fifteen minutes, I can’t get to know my patient in 15 minutes, and they can’t get to know me,” she said. Often times, a follow-up consultation will run to an hour. Having someone who truly listens, she said, is paramount.
The North Augusta location was something Davis said just kind of happened. A door opened. She walked through it.
Though born and raised an Aikenite, Davis has lived in North Augusta and said she’s maintained relationships with some of the business owners here.
