Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star Donovan Mitchell wants to make wellness more accessible to families.
WellWithAll
According to a press release, Mitchell is aligning himself with WellWithAll, a wellness brand co-founded by Demond Martin and Carmichael Roberts. Per the company’s website, WellWithAll is a black-owned and offers supplements and energy drinks. According to Cuisine Noir, its energy drinks contain 45 calories and 80 milligrams of natural caffeine for energy. The brand can also be found at retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Fruitful Yield Health Foods, according to its website.
What’s more, 20% of WellWithAll’s profits are allocated to health equity initiatives, notes Cuisine Noir.
Brand Ambassadors And Strategic Investor
Mitchell joins WellWithAll as a brand ambassador and strategic investor. He joins a slew of investors across business, sports, and philanthropy, including Ken Chenault, Jonathan Kraft, David Fialkow, and Larry Fitzgerald, notes the press release.
Mitchell will be tasked with scaling WellWithAll’s efforts, collaborating on health equity initiatives that include building storytelling for younger audiences and expanding access to wellness resources.
“Performance starts with education and understanding what to put in your body,” said Mitchell in the press release. “In the NBA, we have access to the information and products we need to perform at a high level and maintain mental clarity. With this investment in WellWithAll, I’m helping make sure more families have access to the products and tools that make wellness a reality for everyone, not just a luxury for a few.”
Martin commented:
“Donovan and I share the same belief that where you’re born should never determine how well or how long you live. Generational wellness requires long-term thinking. By investing capital in WellWithAll, Donovan is helping to build a future where daily health resources are easier to access and designed with intention for the people who need them most.”
According to a press release shared with AFROTECH, Mitchell’s investment in WellWithAll is in direct alignment with his long-standing commitment to health advocacy, including through his SPIDACARES Foundation, which targets physical well-being and mental health in children and adults.
