RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Regina Cooley, founder of Gypsy Girl Haven, is competing for the title of Ms. Health and Fitness 2026. For Cooley, the competition represents more than personal achievement. It’s an extension of the work she’s already doing to empower women through health, confidence, and connection.

After being in an abusive relationship for 22 years, Cooley decided it was time for a drastic change. She founded Gypsy Girl Haven with a clear mission: to create a supportive space where women can focus on their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The organization offers wellness-focused programming designed to encourage balance and sustainable healthy habits. Through fitness, gentle accountability and real-life support, Cooley says the goal is to help women feel seen, supported, and strong.

The Ms. Health and Fitness competition highlights women who exemplify leadership, advocacy, and a commitment to healthy living. For Cooley, entering the 2026 competition is another opportunity to amplify her message and expand her impact.

She hopes the platform will inspire others to take that first step toward prioritizing their health.

As she prepares for the competition, Cooley says her focus remains local. She continues to grow Gypsy Girl Haven and develop programs aimed at strengthening the community she serves.

Whether or not she brings home the title, Cooley believes the true reward is the difference she’s making every day.
