The Pierce County Cancer Survivorship Conference, an annual event dedicated to supporting and celebrating cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers in the South Sound, is returning for an 18th year from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on June 10.
The free gathering is taking place at the University of Puget Sound‘s Rotunda at the Wheelock Student Center.
The conference will feature expert speakers sharing insights on the physical, mental, and medical aspects of cancer survivorship.
“This conference is about more than information — it’s about connection, encouragement, and reminding survivors and care partners that they are not alone. We are proud to offer this event free to the community thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and exhibitors,” oncology nurse navigator Jill Roddy said in a release.
There will also be a vendor resource exhibitor area spotlighting local health care and support organizations, free continental breakfast and lunch, and community-sponsored door prizes.
