For 2026, Gattefossé is taking inspiration from the Haute Couture’s iconic fabrics. The French supplier of cosmetic ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients has dedicated a full year of research to developing a series of six new textures designed to spark imagination and open new horizons in cosmetic formulation.
“Fashion and beauty now share the same ambition: delivering a sensory experience! This new collection blends their codes and highlights the importance of touch — which has become a true criterion of desirability,” claims Marine Lochouarn, Marketing Manager, Gattefossé France.
Spotlight on two signature pieces from the new collection:

Cotton Fluff 3061-1.09, a facial cream, with a cloud-like and unexpected texture, with an appearance reminiscent of a soft cotton flower. Its creamy, bouncy, marshmallow-like texture melts on contact with the skin, transforming into an enveloping softness thanks to Emulium Dolcea MB.
With a melting point close to body temperature, Lipocire A SG reinforces this melting sensation and contributes to the cream’s rich, comforting feel. The skin is then wrapped in cotton like softness and soothed by Noxifense, a bioactive ingredient derived from upcycled sea buckthorn leaves.

Elaskin Bi-gel 3062-3.03, a blue face gel-cream with an elastic touch that offers suppleness and a weightless feeling on the skin. Its bi-gel texture provides an ultra-fresh sensation on application thanks to Emulfree CBG MB. The comfortable gel-cream texture, supported by Acticire MB, leaves a soft, light, and nonsticky finish.
Ideal for summer or for combination to oily skin seeking lightweight hydration. Enriched with EleVastin, the formula adapts to the contours of the face, helping to fight skin sagging and redefine facial contours for firm, toned skin.
