We’re in the thick of awards season, and if you aren’t vetting for a Kate Hudson Oscar win, respectfully, what are you doing? Movies aside, I’d personally like to give her an award for her great skin. After seeing her super-glowy ‘60s-inspired glam at the Actor Awards, I was amazed at how glass-like her complexion was—even with camera-ready makeup on. And, according to her makeup artist, her radiant skin was thanks to the prep of the Beauty Pie Triple Hyaluronic Acid and Lipopeptide Serum.

I’ve learned after many failed attempts that skin prep is the key to great makeup, and Hudson’s glam is proof. The Triple Hyaluronic Acid and Lipopeptide Serum combines plumping hyaluronic acid with soothing ceramides and age-defying peptides for a hydrating, lightweight formula that reverses fine lines over time and creates the perfect, smooth base. One five-star reviewer, who is on their second bottle, called the formula “even better than botox,” noting that it “absorbs quickly”and “doesn’t feel sticky.”
Another shopper who has been using the product for a “few weeks” noticed their skin was “more hydrated and plump,” adding that it’s “easy to layer” with other products. Sometimes, I’m scared to layer too many serums under my makeup, for fear of my foundation separating or concealer creasing. But Hudson was the perfect example that this serum actually enhances makeup and leaves behind a pretty glow.
Hudson’s makeup artist, Tonya Brewer, collaborated with Beauty Pie on Hudson’s retro-era makeup as well that included “super glowy skin, lots of lash and a pop of peachy-pink on the cheeks.” To complete her skin prep, Brewer layered the Triple Hyaluronic Acid Deep Moisture Miracle Cream with the serum, adding on the Wonderfilter Brightening Primer that paired with the Superluminous Tinted Skin Glow Serum to complete Hudson’s dewy-skin complexion routine.
And the award for great glass skin goes to…Hudson and Beauty Pie! Add Hudson’s Triple Hyaluronic Acid & Lipopeptide Serum to your routine, plus more of the brand’s skin care and makeup, below.
