A morning of wellness, relaxation and sweat sessions is coming to a mall near you, Pembroke Pines.
The Shops at Pembroke Gardens will host its Ultimate Wellness Sunday on March 15, bringing high-energy fitness, food and big prizes to the shopping center’s plaza.
Three workouts headline the event: a 9 a.m. Zumba class with renowned instructor Gabriela Jurado, a 10 a.m. line dancing session courtesy of Baptist Health South Florida, and an 11 a.m. JetSet mat pilates cooldown.
Soundtracking the event is a live performance by DJ Angelo while guests enjoy refreshments and sample “special bites” from Lime Fresh Mexican Grill and RA Sushi.
Also included with admission are chances to win raffle giveaways from the wellness festival’s sponsors — Nike, Bluemercury, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill and Sephora — as well as a 20% discount from Nike, whose Pembroke Gardens store will host the event.
Before you lace up your sneakers, here’s what to know about attending the Ultimate Wellness Sunday.
Tickets are $5 for each workout class, meaning if you want to triple down on your morning sweat session, it will come out to $15 to attend the Zumba, line dancing and mat pilates classes.
Check-in starts at 8 a.m. and spots are first-come, first-served, so you’ll want to be there early.
All attendees will be expected to sign a waiver and those planning to attend JetSet’s workout should bring a yoga mat or large towel to participate as the pilates studio will not provide any.
