Proper Hospitality has introduced an extensive range of wellness programmes and retreats at two of its properties, including a hot spring-style bathing experience called the Morozko Mineral Bath with Hydrogen.
Proper says the enhancements to its wellness offering mark the company’s continued investment in an ecosystem of experiences that span awareness, movement, recovery and ancient healing practices.
Brian De Lowe, president and co-founder of Proper Hospitality, told Spa Business: “At Proper, wellness isn’t a single offering, it’s an ecosystem. From our Ayurvedic Surya Spa to next-generation recovery modalities like the Ammortal Chamber and now into performance-driven health optimisation, we’re building something that feels both holistic and elevated.”
Santa Monica Proper Hotel
At Santa Monica Proper Hotel in California, US, new wellness offerings include a bathing experience called the Morozko Mineral Bath with Hydrogen that has been introduced inside Proper’s club wellness suite. The two-person soaking ritual is designed to mimic natural hot springs, using mineral-rich and hydrogen-infusion therapy without chlorine. The experience is said to reduce chronic oxidative stress and boost metabolism.
IV drip hydration therapies can also be booked by members, locals and guests can order them to take place in their hotel room.
Another experience being added is the TheraLight 360 full-body red light therapy system, in a new recovery suite at the property – to support cellular recovery, circulation and overall vitality.
Proper Hospitality has also partnered with health platform Hundred Health. The collaboration will provide Proper Club members with a tailored 100-day action plan for movement, recovery and nutrition.
The Proper Hundred plan starts with blood tests, data tracked from wearables and is followed by a protocol and recommendations – all of which are tracked on an app. The Proper Hundred programme costs US$42 (€39, £33) per month and is billed annually at US$499 (€459, £394).
Proper Club members will also get discounts on DEXA scans, invitations to Niagen-branded supplement activations and ongoing thought leadership sessions.
De Lowe added: “Hundred Health’s diagnostic-led, highly personalised approach adds a new dimension to our programming and our retreats, giving guests and members the opportunity to engage with their health in a more intentional, informed and lasting way.”
