The fitness equipment design and procurement company will help operators build official Hyrox Training Center environments inside their facilities
Fitnessmith has been named the exclusive U.S. East Coast commercial partner for Centr x Hyrox official product lines, a move aimed at accelerating the rollout of Hyrox training environments across the region.
Under the agreement, the fitness equipment design and procurement company will work with organizations from Maine to Florida to design and build official Hyrox Training Center environments that replicate the fitness-racing brand’s standardized competition format.
The partnership is expected to support gyms, boutique fitness studios and other operators looking to capitalize on the rapid rise of Hyrox by adding dedicated training environments inside their facilities that allow members to train for events in spaces that mirror race-day conditions.
Through the partnership with Centr — the fitness brand founded by actor Chris Hemsworth and the official equipment provider for Hyrox competitions — Fitnessmith will help integrate Hyrox training zones across traditional gyms, boutique studios, multifamily residential communities, hospitality properties, educational institutions, government facilities and corporate fitness centers, it said.

Based in Boynton Beach, Florida, Fitnessmith partners with organizations across the U.S. to design and build customized fitness facilities, providing services including facility planning, equipment procurement, installation and maintenance.
