“My Pilates @ World Gym” will bring reformer Pilates classes to World Gym’s locations across Taiwan, along with digital content

The trend of Pilates entering big-box gyms has gone global.

World Gym Taiwan has entered an exclusive partnership with Australia-based Your Reformer (YR), deploying the brand’s specialized coaching programs and equipment to its 140 corporate-owned locations throughout Taiwan.

Through a program called “My Pilates @ World Gym,” members will have access to YR’s one-on-one and small-group training formats.

The deal also solidifies the brand as the exclusive approved vendor for Pilates training systems for the World Gym network globally.

“We are excited to bring this premium wellness offering to our Taiwan members as part of our continued commitment to results-driven fitness and member success,” said World Gym president John Caraccio. “The reformers offer great technology which integrates well with World Gym’s famous strength training environment, to further enhance our members’ body conditioning and performance.”

The partnership will also bring YR’s Kiosk Pro digital solution to members, providing access to over 1,000 classes across 20+ categories, including specialized programming for pre- and post-natal Pilates, injury rehabilitation, and sport-specific training, as well as individualized programs from beginner to advanced levels. Mandarin translation is currently being developed for Taiwanese members.

“Partnering with World Gym represents an incredible opportunity to scale our proven Pilates methodology across one of the world’s most respected fitness networks,” said YR CEO Ben Stallworth.

As Taiwan’s largest fitness chain with a franchise network spanning 10 countries, over 284 locations and 900,000 members, World Gym saw a successful 2025, reporting a  full-year net profit of $12.8 million, a 16.3% increase year-over-year, and Q4 net profit growing 175.8% to $5.2 million.

Amid its growth, the company also recently unveiled plans for a longevity initiative that integrates blood and DNA testing directly into members’ fitness routines.

Now, World Gym is entering the race among big-box operators to bring Pilates classes under their roofs. In the U.S., high-value, low-price (HVLP) operators including Amped Fitness, Crunch and 24 Hour Fitness, have begun to integrate reformer studios into their gyms.
