Kenny Buffaloe, local Kyokushin Karate instructor & trainer, is teaching a monthly Women’s Fitness & Self Defense Class at the Community Building in Hollister on the first Thursday of each month at 6p.m. There is no charge for the 50-minute sessions. Participants have fun while getting into shape and learning invaluable self defense techniques.
During the classes, students are taken through a brief warm up and then drilled in basic self-protection techniques. The session ends with conditioning exercises and drills on the striking equipment for focus and power. These classes are great for weight control, fitness, and stress reduction.
The next session will be on Thursday, April 2, at 6p.m. at the Hollister Community Building.
