The much-happening event of the Orange City Personality Contest Miss. L.A.D 2025-26, a culminating event of the grand AURA Fest was held on 15th March at T.B.R.A.N.’S Mundle Platinum Jubilee Hall.
The contest started off on a low key affair, a platform to showcase that beauty is also with brains but from 2007 the Platinum Jubilee Year, it has gained popularity and is now witnessed by thousands in its present grandeur.
The parameters for judgment are not just based on height, weight and looks. The sole idea behind this contest is to appreciate girls’ talent in every field and help enhance their personality. Noticeably there is an amazing transformation of the contestants over the period of three months. The platform and training gives an impetus to their confidence a boost to their morale and prepare them to face the challenges of life.
The 29 contestants from final year of different faculty were selected during auditions. During the arduous training period of 3 months the participants underwent many sessions of training by prominent trainers – Dr. Harsha Jharia, Mrs. Sonal Trivedi Malkan, and Ms. Shivani Joshi.
They were ably assisted by Ms. Soumya Mahile, former contestant of Miss. L.A.D. They all trained the contestants for the ramp walk, answering out of the box questions, novel way of introducing themselves, all round Personality Development and dancing elegantly to the foot tapping Bollywood dance medley.
Dr. Meenakshi Kulkarni guided the students on Know thyself, Positive Attitude, Self Esteem, Inner Empowerment and Journey is equally important for empowerment. The guest speakers were Dr. Vartika Patil, took session on stage presence and emphasized the importance of grooming. Dr. Kavita Jadhao, Chief coordinator of Bhosala Institute conducted a power packed session on Path to Personality Excellence. Dr. Shishir Palsapure undertook a session on how to combat anxiety and nervousness.
As part of the Competition talent round was conducted where the girls showcased amazing performances of their hidden talents.
Photographer Ambreen Ali captured the beauties in an exclusive photoshoot, and Vedant Photo Studio and team captured these beauties in their lenses during the main event.
The program was compeered by, Anushka Jain, Hayaa Kazi, Sarah Geevarghese, Kritika Shukla, Devika Khadia, Shreshtha Chaudhary and Gargi Puranik. The anchors were professionally trained by Dr. Payal Hiranwar and Dr. Aboli Vyas.
The in house DJs were Ms. Kashish Jain and Ms. Diya Waghwani. The in house social media expert was Ms. Sharmishtha Shahane.
The eminent judges of competition were Dr. Kavita Jadhao, Mr. Vaibhav Ganjapure, Dr. Shishir Palsapure, Dr. Vartika Patil, Mrs. Gayatri Vatsalya and Ms. Sneha Dhobley.
The event had three rounds. The first round was introduction round where the lovely ladies introduced themselves in a unique style. On the basis of their introduction they moved on to the next round the top twelve round which was Judges question round, where the contestants gave witty and out of the box answers. The top six contestants were selected and a common question was asked to them for deciding the winner, first runners up and second runners up. The contestants also walked the ramp in their elegant evening gowns with creative Bridgerton series-inspired props.
