The software giant’s new Elevate Wellness program helps gyms and clubs link members with licensed telehealth providers to offer GLP-1s and other services
Daxko is helping fitness operators join the growing gym-as-a-clinic movement.
The fitness and wellness software giant has launched Elevate Wellness, a program designed to help gyms and clubs provide GLP-1 support and other telehealth offerings through physician-guided metabolic health services.
The new program provides support for not only GLP-1 weight management, but also hormone therapy and peptides through licensed telemedicine partners.
The idea is to give operators a way to integrate medical wellness, which is increasingly entering fitness clubs, without worrying about the clinical side themselves, as licensed telemedicine partners handle medical oversight, prescriptions and compliance.
Even as the program provides a more holistic approach to health, Elevate Wellness establishes a clear separation between medical providers and fitness facilities, according to Daxko.
The move pushes Daxko into one of the fastest-growing segments of the fitness and wellness industry — according to a recent report, 17 different fitness operators offer some form of a GLP-1 program, from in-house offerings at Equinox and Life Time to partnership referral programs through brands like Planet Fitness, Crunch and F45.
