SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – One man is dead and another is in custody after a robbery turned violent near a Shreveport gym.
Shreveport Police were called near a Planet Fitness in the 2700 block of W. 70th St. by Mansfield Rd. the night of March 17, 2026, in reference to a robbery that escalated into a shooting. Police say one man was shot and killed.
A suspect is in custody. Violent crimes detectives are investigating, and details are limited. We’ll keep you First Alert on air and online as we learn more.
