The Reformer studio

A state-of-the-art Reformer studio is set to launch at the brand-new Bedworth Physical Activity Hub on Saturday, 21 March.

The purpose-built studio will feature 18 Reformer machines, with the £100,000 cost funded by award-winning operator Everyone Active and Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council.

Reformer is performed on a specialist machine with adjustable resistance and a moving platform, providing a versatile workout that can be tailored for individual fitness levels.

Popular for its ability to strengthen the core, improve flexibility and assist with rehabilitation, the exercise is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

The centre, which opened to the local community on Tuesday, 10 March, will offer two types of Reformer class:

Reformer Fitcore: a low-impact, full-body Pilates workout focusing on strength, mobility and core stability
Reformer Ignite: a higher-intensity, fitness-based session designed to challenge participants of all levels

Reformer is part of Everyone Active’s commitment to provide innovative fitness offerings for local communities.

Lloyd Barraclough, Everyone Active’s Area Contract Manager, said:

“We’re excited to bring Reformer to Bedworth Physical Activity Hub and to make this versatile workout accessible to the local community.

“Reformer truly is for everyone, whether you’re just starting your fitness journey, looking to enhance your routine, or recovering from an injury.

“The adaptability of the Reformer machines ensures sessions can be as gentle or challenging as needed, making it an ideal option for people of all ages and fitness levels.”

Cllr Brady Hughes, Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Health, said:

“This studio will be a fantastic addition for our wonderful Bedworth Physical Activity Hub, which is proving to be hugely popular after it opened last week.

“This will give our Borough another first rate facility, which we are sure will be massively popular for our residents for many years to come.’’
