Sung Si Kyung shed nearly 10kg in just three months, reaching a healthy weight. He shared his weight loss journey in detail, posting his weight change graph, exercise logs, and InBody results with fans.

On March 20, Sung Si Kyung revealed his diet progress on social media. The post included daily weight updates, notes on his exercise routines, and InBody analysis results. Fans were particularly drawn to the transparency of his journey, showing not just the outcomes but the entire process.

The numbers speak for themselves. Starting at 95kg on January 6, he brought his weight down to 85.3kg by March 16. The graph shows a steady decline without major rebounds. According to the latest InBody measurement, he currently weighs 86.1kg. With a height of 187.6cm, his BMI is 24.46, placing him in the standard range.

His weight loss strategy combined strict diet and exercise. Sung Si Kyung said, “During the first month, I survived on eggs, sweet potatoes, flatfish sashimi, and supplements.” The exercise regimen was equally rigorous. Records show that he played tennis and did strength training almost every day. Basic strength exercises, including squats and abdominal workouts, were consistently performed alongside cardio. He explained, “I walked and ran for an hour at night without recording it, and when filming commercials, I exercised three times a day.”

He also shared why he decided to lose weight: “I had carried extra weight for a long time, and being asked to model cosmetics at this age felt like a burden. I saw it as an opportunity to properly manage my health.”

Addressing concerns about rapid weight loss, Sung Si Kyung clarified, “It’s not that my body was unhealthy; the previous state was worse. I’ve only now reached a normal weight.” He added, “From now on, I will focus on maintaining it and managing my health more sustainably.”

Experts also emphasize the importance of post-diet management. After significant weight loss, the body tends to adapt by lowering energy expenditure, which can lead to weight regain. Therefore, professionals recommend maintaining the current weight for a period before attempting further reductions. Stabilizing eating patterns and activity levels is key to preventing rebound weight gain.

Sung Si Kyung also hinted at enjoying the end of his strict diet, posting, “I ate to my heart’s content tonight,” along with hashtags expressing the challenges he faced while limiting his meals.
