NAPOLEON — A new studio opening in downtown Napoleon aims to offer fitness and wellness to the community to show health can be a form of wealth at Wellth Studio.

Wellth Studio recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and owner Gino Rubio, along with instructors Heather Frye and Kimberly Egler, were offering tours of the facility.

The studio offers Reformer Pilates, mat-based pilates, strength training and personal training.

“The goal was to combine everything all into one studio to maximize on bringing only the best for everybody’s health and well-being, and that’s why we believe wellness is real wealth,” Rubio told the Northwest Signal. “We also want to accomplish the goal of providing for the community a top-tier studio is only here to progress and be successful in providing the best service for them.”

Rubio has been a personal trainer for five years, noting the passion for training started while he has still in high school.

“From your basic football lifts, I just kind of fell in love with that passion for (training),” he said. “With injuries I had, I realized rehabilitating myself was definitely amazing. To do that for myself, and then being able to do that for others, too, set it apart for me. I fell in love with the communication and being one-on-one with people, and see that change happening week-by-week, especially with the consistent work they are putting in.”

However, Rubio noted the studio is team effort, coupled with the expertise brought on by Frye and Egler.

“(They are) people who have really stood out with their instruction and help out with their knowledge offered to this place as well. It’s not just me, it’s everyone all together,” he said.

Wellth Studio is located at 705 N. Perry St. in downtown Napoleon (419-789-3903). Information on the studio can also be found on Facebook/Instagram under “Wellth Studio.”
