Wellbeing today is no longer just a trend, but a daily choice that encompasses nutrition, movement and awareness. In this context, Jingold, an Italian company and global kiwi specialist, is strengthening its commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports initiatives and educational activities aimed at raising awareness of the properties and nutritional values of yellow-, red- and green-fleshed varieties.

“The growing attention of consumers towards these topics now requires food sector brands to adopt an increasingly responsible, authoritative and value-driven communication approach,” says Andrea Zambelli, digital marketing specialist at Jingold. “In this context, Jingold has chosen to reinforce its positioning on wellbeing by collaborating with nutritionists and health professionals, involved in the development of informative and educational content dedicated to the nutritional benefits of kiwi.” The goal is to build communication that combines product quality, information and food education: the results achieved on social media confirm the effectiveness of this approach.

One million users reached with a strong focus on wellbeing

Content dedicated to wellbeing, taste and sustainability, shared on Jingold’s Instagram and Facebook pages, generated a total of one million views, confirming audience interest in a structured and consistent narrative around the brand’s values. In this context, wellbeing-focused content stood out in terms of performance, reaching engagement rates up to four times higher than average.

This demonstrates how collaboration between brands and health professionals can strengthen the credibility of messages and foster a more direct and informed relationship with consumers. This strategy will continue in the coming months with new content to be released on Jingold’s social channels, in collaboration with a university lecturer specialising in nutrition and nutraceuticals.

Beyond online activities, initiatives are also planned in the Cesena area—where the company is headquartered—to raise awareness among consumers about the importance of a healthy and conscious diet. The first event, held on Saturday 21 March, involved young members of Polisportiva Endas, who, after attending a talk by a nutritionist invited for the occasion, had the opportunity to taste premium kiwis distributed to families.

To showcase its characteristics, educational articles, nutritional advice and balanced recipes are regularly published on social media and on the Jingold.it website, developed with the support of digital creators and health professionals.

Promotion of sports activity

Alongside information, Jingold promotes initiatives and sporting events every year aimed at spreading the values of wellbeing, inclusion and solidarity. The next event will be the Diabetes Marathon, scheduled for 19 April in Forlì: the main event in Italy dedicated to raising awareness about diabetes, involving thousands of participants through sports, prevention and activities open to the entire community. In June, Jingold will once again support “Muoviti che ti fa bene”, an initiative that brings life to Cesena’s public parks every year, offering free classes in yoga, pilates and outdoor fitness. In September, the Forlì Alzheimer Marathon returns, a widely attended solidarity event in Romagna dedicated to awareness and fundraising for research into the disease.

This commitment also extends to the world of football: for the 2025/2026 season, Jingold remains a local partner of Cesena FC, renewing a collaboration active since 2015 and based on shared values of sport, wellbeing and the enhancement of the local community. During the season, the company also supplies its yellow-fleshed kiwis to the team, supporting players’ nutrition and post-activity recovery.

The “Jingold Healthy Walk & Run” returns to Macfrut

In line with this commitment, Jingold is promoting for the second consecutive year the “Jingold Healthy Walk & Run”, a wellbeing-focused initiative organised during Macfrut. The event will take place on Tuesday 22 April, the second day of the trade fair, starting at 6:30 a.m. from the Embassy Hotel in Rimini (viale Amerigo Vespucci 33). The route will run along the seafront to the pier and then return to the Embassy, where participants will enjoy a shared breakfast offered by Jingold.

Participation is free and reserved for Macfrut visitors and operators. To register, participants simply need to complete the dedicated form by 5 April.

“The Jingold Healthy Walk & Run returns this year as an informal and dynamic meeting point that brings together sport, healthy eating and networking among industry professionals,” concludes Federico Milanese, marketing manager at Jingold. “A concrete way to translate into experience the values that guide the company: promoting an active lifestyle and strengthening the link between innovative agriculture, nutrition and everyday wellbeing.”
